Lucas Davis Appointed as CEO for Sigma
Washington, D.C. (July 18, 2024) – Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (Sigma) has appointed Lucas “Luke” Davis as its next Chief Executive Officer. His tenure begins August 19, 2024.
Davis brings extensive leadership experience from professional development and educational organizations to the role. He joins Sigma from the International Coaching Federation, where he has been Vice President & Chief Staff Officer since 2019. His previous experience includes serving as Executive Director at National University College, Executive Director & CEO at Campuspeak, Associate Director at Phi Theta Kappa, and Assistant Director at Webster University.
Davis has a bachelor’s degree in social and behavioral sciences from Western Kentucky University and a master’s degree in education from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis. He is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and was honored as a Diversity Executive Leadership Program (DELP) Scholar earlier this year. Additionally, he is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Society of Human Resources Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), Associate Certified Coach (ACC), and an Institute for Credentialing Excellence Credentialing Professional (ICE-CCP).
