CWEA Hires Anabel Martinez as New Director of Member Services
Washington, D.C. (March 16, 2023) — The California Water Environment Association (CWEA) has appointed Anabel Martinez as the organization’s new Director of Member Services. Anabel brings over two decades of experience in association management and office administration, most recently as Account Manager at Association Management Solutions (AMS). Annabel started her new position at CWEA on February 21.
In her previous role, Anabel served as the Executive Director of three client associations and was responsible for the financial management, governance, member services, meetings, and events of each organization .
Anabel’s leadership experience also includes organizing meetings and trade shows of 20 to 1,500 people, domestically and internationally.. Additionally, Anabel worked with Service Employees International Union–United Healthcare Workers (SEIU-UHW) as a Membership Associate.
Anabel has a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, a Bachelor’s degree in Management from St. Mary’s College of California, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
