The International Society for Advancement of Cytometry (ISAC) seeks an innovative Executive Director (ED) to drive scientific collaboration and technological advancements in cytometry. The ideal ED will be an experienced executive with a strong scientific background or experience working with scientific leaders.
Since 1980, ISAC has served as the primary society promoting analytical cytometry, which is broadly defined as the quantitative analysis of cells and cell systems, including size, number, and characteristics. The Society aims to integrate disciplines connected to cytometry, disseminating knowledge, research, and information to those in the field and advising on public policy issues that relate to analytical cytometry. ISAC is a 501(c)(3) organization with an annual budget of approximately $2.5 million and a staff of 4 professionals based in Washington, DC.
