Kelly Fackel Becomes Executive Director for Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation

Washington, D.C. (January 8, 2024) – The Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation is pleased to announce Kelly Fackel as the new Executive Director. Her first day in the role is January 8, 2024.

Fackel brings a highly impressive record of fundraising and leadership to the organization. She previously served as Vice President of Development at the Grandview Foundation, a philanthropic arm of Kettering Health Network, for nearly 20 years. In this role, Fackel managed all aspects of fundraising, partnered with the board of directors, provided strategic oversight, and led and mentored the fundraising team. Her prior experience includes positions at the Miami (Ohio) Valley Regional Planning Commission, the University of Dayton, and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). 

Fackel, a Kappa Kappa Gamma alumna, received a master’s degree in American Studies from The George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in history and sociology from the University of Iowa. She is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) and has also earned a Certificate in Fundraising Management and a Certificate in Nonprofit Executive Leadership from Indiana University’s Lilly School of Philanthropy.
