Lakia S. Elam, PHR, SHRM-CP is a Senior Executive Recruiter for Sterling Martin Associates bringing over 20 years of human resources, recruitment, and administrative management experience to the firm. 

Prior to joining SMA, Lakia served as Director of Talent Experience for Inteleos. She is also the Principal Consultant for Magnificent Differences Consulting where she partners with organizational leaders to align HR strategy with business objectives. 

Lakia holds a BS in Human Resource Management and is on track to receive her MBA from the University of MD Global Campus in March 2022. She holds certifications from the Human Resource Certification Institute and the Society for Human Resource Management.
