Washington, D.C. (November 22, 2024) –TESOL International Association (TESOL) is pleased to welcome Danielle Staudt as its next Executive Director. Her tenure officially begins January 27, 2025.
Staudt brings extensive and impressive leadership experience to the organization. She joins TESOL from the Population Association of America, where she has served as Executive Director for 10 years. Prior to that, she was Executive Director of the Association of Government Relations Professionals. Her past positions also include Director of Marketing and Operations at the National School Transportation Association and both Account Executive and Project Manager at Americaneagle.com, a website design and digital marketing company.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Xavier University and a master’s degree in nonprofit and association management from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Staudt is a Certified Association Executive (CAE).
She is an active and accomplished volunteer as well. Staudt’s experience includes serving as Chair of the Consortium of Social Science Association’s Board of Directors, Vice Chair of the Charles County (Maryland) Public Library Board of Trustees, and Director and Vice President of the Southern Maryland Regional Library Association.
