Washington, DC (February 27, 2025) – The American Burn Association (ABA) is proud to welcome Ed Dellert, RN, MBA, FACEHP as Chief Executive Officer. His tenure starts on March 31, 2025.
Dellert joins ABA with extensive prior executive leadership experience within healthcare and professional societies, including the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, and the American College of Chest Physicians. He serves on the Board of Directors of Association Forum and as a Surveyor and Committee Member of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education. His strategic vision and commitment to innovation have propelled organizational growth, deepened global engagement, and broadened high-impact educational programs.
As CEO, Dellert will oversee ABA’s membership engagement, educational programs, advocacy initiatives and efforts to expand high-quality education and resources for burn care professionals.
He earned his MBA from Indiana University, is a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and has over 30 years’ experience in nonprofit healthcare leadership, advocacy, and strategic development.
