The California Water Environmental Association (CWEA) has appointed Sue Alexander as their Director of Education. She began this role on April 9. In this position, Sue will lead the educational programming, content development, and instructional design strategy for CWEA’s statewide digital and face-to-face professional development portfolio.
Sue joined CWEA from her consulting firm, SPIRE Consulting, where she helped organizations streamline operations and enhance their live and digital content and education strategy. Prior to starting her consulting firm, she served as Director, Meetings, Marketing and Membership at the American College of Phlebology where she earned the 100 Smart Women in Meetings and Industry Leader Award in 2018.
Sue earned her M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Vermont.
