NOSSCR Hires Stephen Gardner as New CEO
Washington, D.C. (April 5, 2023) – The National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR) has appointed Stephen Gardner as the association’s new CEO. Gardner brings 26 years’ experience from a wide range of leadership roles in trade associations, a global nonprofit, and a communications consulting firm. Before being named NOSSCR’s permanent CEO, Gardner served as the organization’s Interim CEO. His previous roles include Interim President and CEO at the International Safety Equipment Association and Chief Operating Officer at the Corn Refiners Association. Gardner’s additional experience includes key executive and communications-focused positions at Crosby-Volmer International Communications, US Pharmacopeia, The Aluminum Association, and American Chemistry Council.
Gardner holds a Master’s degree in Communications from the University of Louisiana and a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Maine.
