Julie McGrath Assumes Role of Senior Director, Global Events for ISPOR

Washington D.C. (March 7, 2019) – Following a national search lead by Sterling Martin Associates, ISPOR, the international professional society for health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), hires Julie McGrath as their new Senior Director, Global Events.

In the position of Senior Director, Global Events, McGrath heads the development and execution of ISPOR’s scientific meetings both in the U.S. and internationally, including development of long and short-term strategies and execution, business plans, budgets, and staff management.

McGrath’s professional experience includes over 23 years of progressively responsible roles in event management and strategy for both nonprofit healthcare and scientific organizations as well as for-profit corporations.Julie was most recently employed by the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), where she worked for one year as the Director, Global Events in Tulsa, OK. At SEG, she had budgetary responsibility for $4M and supervised a staff of seven along with three additional dotted-line reports.
