Jessica Powell joined Sterling Martin in 2024 as a Vice President, bringing a wealth of experience partnering with senior executives on confidential, high-profile executive recruitment endeavors.
Prior to joining SM, Jessica spearheaded C-suite recruitment at Brown Executive Search. There, she collaborated with founders and investors of this generation’s most respected venture-backed growth companies, building world-class leadership cohorts across modern day enterprise and consumer technology companies.
Earlier in her career, she spent much of her time in Executive Communications as a strategist and speechwriter to presidential appointees and senior-level executives in the Nation’s Capital. It was from those experiences that Jessica gained the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, a knack for quality research and the art of sharing powerful stories.
Jessica credits her early roots in the hospitality industry for her passion for fostering trust and building long-term relationships with clients and candidates alike — and that’s what drew her to the retained executive search space with the sought-after Sterling Martin Associates team. Today she is proud to partner with some of the world’s most notable associations and nonprofits to place world-class leaders within their organizations.
Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University.
