Washington D.C. (October 4, 2021) – The American Society of Breast Surgeons (ASBrS) today welcomes Erica Holland as their new Executive Director. Holland’s professional experience includes more than 24 years within the association sector, with 18 years as a senior executive with the Society of Interventional Radiology.
In the recent ASBRS press release announcing the Executive Director selection, Holland’s role is summarized: she will “lead day-to-day operations and oversee strategic planning to guide the Society in the pursuit of its mission to continually improve the practice of breast surgery. Holland joins ASBRS from her current role as the Assistant Executive Director at the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR), a role she has held for 14 years. She joined SIR as the Director of Meetings in 2002, and was quickly given more responsibility, ultimately being promoted to Assistant Executive Director in 2007. Holland holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the College of William and Mary.
