The National Association of the Remodeling Industry Names Christine Melendes as Incoming CEO

Christine Melendes NARI CEOWashington D.C. (July 13, 2022) – The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) recently named Christine Melendes as their incoming Chief Executive Officer, effective July 18, 2022. Melendes has spent most of her 24-year career advancing through the association and nonprofit sector, with more than 13 years in senior leadership roles. She holds a Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation.

Melendes joins NARI from her most recent role as Senior Vice President, Events & Strategic Projects for Associations for Corporate Growth (ACG) based in Chicago, IL. She was with ACG for the past decade. During her tenure, she started ACG’s first magazine publication, developed ACG’s first ever certification program, and participated in public policy meeting on the Hill.

Melendes is currently pursuing her Executive MBA at Loyola University Chicago (expected spring 2023) and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She received her certificate in Nonprofit Management from the University of Chicago Booth School and completed the improv training program with Second City Chicago.
