ACAPT Names John Lewis Interim Executive Director
Washington, D.C. (October 18, 2024) – The American Council of Academic Physical Therapy (ACAPT) is pleased to welcome John Lewis as Interim Executive Director.
Lewis brings extensive leadership, communications, and consulting expertise to ACAPT. He is the founder of Intersect Strategies and recently led the Western Carolina Medical Society Foundation as Interim Executive Director. His previous roles include serving as Executive Director of Heart Valve Voice US and Senior Vice President of Policy and Public Affairs at the Association of Clinical Research Organizations.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Duquesne University and a master’s degree in journalism and public affairs from American University. Lewis is a Certified Interim Executive.
