Association of Psychological Science Names Robert Gropp Executive Director

Washington, D.C. (October 21, 2020) – The Association of Psychological Science (APS) recently appointed Robert Gropp as their new Executive Director. Gropp’s career spans 26 years of experience with scientific societies, on Capitol Hill, with government agencies, and in academia.

Gropp joins APS from his most recent, 17-year role serving at the American Institute of Biological Sciences (AIBS) leadership roles- most recently as Executive Director. Gropp has also served as the Executive Director of the Natural Science Collections Alliance. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Ph.D. in Botany.
