Brooke Bixler Takes on Role as Program Manager for ASBrS

Washington, D.C. (March 19, 2024) The American Society of Breast Surgeons (ASBrS) has selected Brooke Bixler as its Program Manager of Evidence-Based Breast Surgery Clinical Practice Documents. Her first day in the role was March 18, 2024. 

Bixler joins ASBrS from the American Urological Association, where she spent nearly eight years as Guideline Project Manager. Her contributions included leading the guideline, review, and topic nomination processes and supervising methodology consultants. Her previous experience includes working in clinical and research roles at the University of Pittsburgh, including at the Center for Aging and Population Health, Environmental Health and Safety Department, and Public Health Infectious Disease Laboratory.   

Bixler received a Bachelor of Science in Immunology and Infectious Disease from Pennsylvania State University and earned a Master of Public Health in Infectious Diseases and Microbiology from the University of Pittsburgh.
