Washington D.C. (August 30, 2021) – The California Society of CPAs (CalCPA), the nation’s largest state CPA society, recently announced Denise LeDuc Froemming, CPA, CAE, MBA as their new President and CEO, effective October 18, 2021.
Froemming’s professional experience includes more than 34 years in accounting and management along with 23 years in the nonprofit and association sectors. Froemming is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Association Executive (CAE). She holds a Master of Business Administration from Norther Illinois University
Froemming joins CalCPA from her most recent role as Chief Executive Officer/Executive Vice President for the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), a role which she has held for nearly four years.
CalCPA’s mission is to increase the value and promote the integrity of the CPA profession; contribute to the success of its members; and strengthen client, employer, public and government trust in CalCPA member advice, work products, and opinions. The Society operates two 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporations, the CalCPA Education Foundation (Education Foundation) and the CalCPA Institute.
CalCPA’s members have access to a wide range of training, professional development, and leadership opportunities through the Society. CalCPA advocates for its members, monitoring new legislation that could impact the profession and encouraging grassroots lobbying efforts at the local level.
