Construction Suppliers Association Welcomes Karen Handel as Next President

Washington, D.C. (August 28, 2023) The Construction Suppliers Association (CSA) has selected Karen Handel as its next President. Handel brings more than 30 years of executive experience to the organization, most recently as President/CEO of Carroll Tomorrow/Carroll County (Georgia) Chamber of Commerce. She is slated to begin her new role on August 28. 

Handel’s previous leadership positions include President of Cogent Strategies, serving as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, and working as Senior Vice President of Public Policy at Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Additionally, she has held a variety of integral positions within the state of Georgia as Secretary of State, Chairman of the Fulton County Board of Commissioners, Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Sonny Perdue, and President/CEO of the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce. 

Her additional experience includes working as Head of Global Communications and Public Affairs at CIBA Vision (a division of Novartis Eyecare), Director of Public Relations, Southeast Asia, at KPMG, and Deputy Chief of Staff to Marilyn Quayle during the George H. W. Bush-Dan Quayle Administration.
