Jeff Rogers Enters as Deputy Executive Director for the Independent Electrical Contractors of Atlanta & Georgia
Washington, D.C. (October 4, 2024) – The Independent Electrical Contractors of Atlanta & Georgia welcomes Jeff Rogers as Deputy Executive Director. His tenure started September 30, 2024.
Rogers brings nearly three decades of education, workforce development, and leadership experience to the role. He joins the organization from the Mechanical Trades Institute, where he was Administrative Director for more than a decade. Prior to that, Rogers worked at Rockdale County (Georgia) Public Schools, where he served in a number of capacities–including as a classroom teacher, Head Boys’ Varsity Basketball Coach, Work-Based Learning School Coordinator, and Youth Apprenticeship & Work-Based Learning County Coordinator.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from Clayton State University, a Master of Education from Georgia State University, and an Education Specialist in Teaching and Learning degree from Liberty University. Rogers has also received several certifications and endorsements, as well as numerous honors throughout his career.
