The Associated Subcontractors of Massachusetts Appoints Carrie L. Ciliberto, Esq. As CEO

Following a national search conducted by the Sterling Martin Associates team, The Associated Subcontractors of Massachusetts has appointed Carrie L. Ciliberto, Esq. as the next CEO of the association, to succeed Monica Lawton, who will retire at the end of July after 20 years with ASM. Carrie will officially join The Associated Subcontractors of Massachusetts on July 20.
Carrie comes to The Associated Subcontractors of Massachusetts with impressive construction industry and association credentials. Since 2008, she has served as Senior Director & Counsel, Contracts & Construction Law for the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) in Washington D.C. Simultaneously she was Deputy Executive Director & Counsel for ConsensusDocs LLC, the AGC affiliate that produces the only standard construction contracts in the U.S. written by 40 leading industry organizations.
Prior to her tenure with the Associated General Contractors of America, she was the founder and principal of a Colorado law firm emphasizing water, natural resources, environmental, real property and land use law.
Founded in 1950, the Associated Subcontractors of Massachusetts (ASM) today represents nearly 400 subcontractors as well as suppliers and affiliated organizations in Massachusetts and surrounding states. ASM is the only organization in the Commonwealth dedicated exclusively to the business issues affecting subcontractors, who perform more than 80% of the work on all major building construction in the state.
