National Speakers Association Appoints Mary Lue Peck as CEO

Following a national search conducted by the Sterling Martin Associates team, National Speakers Association (NSA) has appointed Mary Lue Peck as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective January 2, 2018.

Mary Lue comes to NSA from the Institute for Supply Management (ISM). ISM is an international association with 50,000 members in 90 countries. Mary Lue has served as ISM’s Chief Content and Engagement Officer for 12 and a half years and is in charge of specialty conferences, publications, online learning, new product offerings, marketing, CMS, and membership growth.

NSA is the leading organization for professional speakers. NSA’s 53,000+ members include experts in a variety of industries and disciplines, who reach audiences as trainers, educators, humorists, motivators, consultants, authors, and more. Since 1973, NSA has provided resources and education designed to advance the skills, integrity, and value of its members and the speaking profession.

As CEO, Mary Lue will provide bold leadership to take NSA to its next level. She will direct and participate in growth activities to support NSA’s overall business objectives and plans; develop and direct the execution of policies to support NSA in general and accomplish the organization’s strategic objectives; and lead the organization in developing strategies and tactics to achieve NSA’s mission.

Mary Lue earned a BS in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix, and she has an MBA with a concentration in Management from Western International University.
