SHEA Names New Executive Director
Washington, DC (March 11, 2019) – Sterling Martin Associates is happy to share The Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America’s (SHEA) announcement for their new Executive Director. SMA lead the search that led Kristy Weinshel, MBA to fill this role.
Reporting to SHEA’s Board of Trustees, the Weinshel is responsible for implementing the strategic initiatives and policy decisions of the Board as well as efficiently and effectively running the day-to-day operations of the Society. Weinshel will provide overall guidance, leadership and management of the Society’s operations and supports the Society’s elected volunteer leadership.

Weinshel received an M.B.A. in Finance from The George Washington University as well as a B.A. in marketing with a minor in communications.
