Karen Lombardo
Vice President, Search Operations
Karen Lombardo, Vice President of Search Operations, has been a key contributor to Sterling Martin Associates since 2014. Karen has over 25 years of human resources management and recruiting experience. She is responsible for leading all aspects of Sterling Martin’s search efforts to ensure a successful placement. She interacts on a daily basis with both clients and candidates and provides leadership to our stellar recruitment, research, marketing, communications, and administrative teams.
Before joining Sterling Martin Associates, Karen spent ten years as a senior human resources consultant with Operations, Inc., where she assisted small- to mid-size nonprofits and corporations with their human resources and recruiting needs. She has also worked in various roles within the corporate sector where her focus was on entrepreneurial marketing and communications-related industries.
Karen earned a BA in Government from St. Lawrence University. To deepen her professional portfolio, Karen recently completed the Predictive Index® Practitioner training. Karen and her family reside in Loudoun County, Virginia. Outside of work, Karen can be found taking long walks with her dogs in the Virginia countryside or in the barn enjoying her lifelong love of horseback riding.
