Director of Digital Media
Laura Labovitz joined Sterling Martin Associates in February 2019 as Director of Digital Media. She brings a strong content creation and digital marketing background and is the leader of strategic direction and development of SMA’s digital presence. This includes the public website, social communities, digital communications and media relations.
Laura’s recent experience includes running Labovitz Social Marketing, a freelance agency focused on building each client’s digital presence through excellent content and promotion. Laura previously served as the Social Marketing Specialist for Kicking Cow Promotions, an experiential marketing agency. Her past experience also includes her role as the Social Media Specialist for Society for Science & the Public, a science education nonprofit. Laura’s client experience includes companies ranging from Hallmark Cards to Nestle Purina.
Laura also has extensive writing and editing experience. Laura has produced content for USA Today, USA Weekend Magazine, St. Louis Business Journal, Gainesville Business Report, The Jerusalem Post, American Journalism Review, and FierceMarkets.
Laura holds a BA in Multimedia Journalism from the University of Maryland Philip Merrill College of Journalism. She resides in Maryland with her husband and their children.
